Alright, I'm Convinced. What's Your Process?
First we begin by figuring out which stump needs to go - are we taking care of the one in the center of your lawn or will we be removing them all?
We then come back and do some excavating work on that spot; this is what you'll need a rock saw for. Once we've got enough dirt unearthed around the old stump, it's time to cut! We use our chainsaw (with an expert hand) to trim off any excess wood around the perimeter so there's no chance of root regrowth. Afterward, it's just a matter of using our grinder with rotating blades to chop up that bad boy into manageable chunks until only these two things remain: A pile of mulch and perfect grass! Feel free to keep the fresh mulch to use in your garden and line your walkways!
A stump grinder uses discs fitted onto two rotating shafts that cut away wood chips while grinding stumps down into small woodchips so you can have your yard back! They come equipped with blades encased in an abrasive material that grinds trees to a quarter-inch (or less) of their former size.
Our most basic stump grinding service includes: cutting the base with our saw, using our grinder to chop up your old stump into manageable pieces, and then we'll haul away everything! We have many sizes available including two-foot minis which are perfect for those smaller spaces you need to be cleared out.
